Seething Festival and the Legend of Lefi the Goat-Boy

For the last couple of weekends, Katie joined in the celebrations of the rediscovery of a lost legend - the story of Lefi Ganderson, a goat-boy, and Thamas Deeton, the giant who once terrorised the residents of Surbiton, then known as Seething. Brought to our attention by Homage de Fromage and hosted by The Lamb pub.

Click on the link to read all about the legend, and to see videos of what went on.

Katie first joined the BSAA to find where the rumoured 15 ley lines which pass through Surbiton cross, to find that they actually converge in the back of The Lamb pub's garden!
She then took part in the next weekend's procession to celebrate the legend that was Lefi Ganderson, dressing up as a stilt walking human lantern.
