Regent Street Festival

Hey Readers!

Last year I performed at the Regent Street Festival with my juggling street show. It was a brilliant day, full of sunshine and smiles. I have just received some of the photos from the event taken by the very talented photographer Kate Darkins. Check them out below. For more of Kate's work go to www.facebook.com/pages/Kate-Darkins-Photography/150119174794

Thanks for checking them out.

Bye bye for now!

Seething Festival and the Legend of Lefi the Goat-Boy

For the last couple of weekends, Katie joined in the celebrations of the rediscovery of a lost legend - the story of Lefi Ganderson, a goat-boy, and Thamas Deeton, the giant who once terrorised the residents of Surbiton, then known as Seething. Brought to our attention by Homage de Fromage and hosted by The Lamb pub.

Click on the link to read all about the legend, and to see videos of what went on.

Katie first joined the BSAA to find where the rumoured 15 ley lines which pass through Surbiton cross, to find that they actually converge in the back of The Lamb pub's garden!
She then took part in the next weekend's procession to celebrate the legend that was Lefi Ganderson, dressing up as a stilt walking human lantern.

CIRCUS SUBURBIA is a new suburban circus for 2010...with talented performers from London, Cornwall and Bristol, we work from Kingston-Upon-Thames but can travel anywhere.
We are a social enterprise. working for the good of the community and investing any profits into the future of the circus.
ENTERTAINMENT can be provided for any occasion or event - with jugglers, acrobats, stilt walkers, magicians and aerialists, we can create performances for every size and budget.

WORKSHOPS are available in juggling and manipulation, acrobatics and acrobalance, aerial silks, hoop, rope and trapeze.

CLASSES are soon to begin at Tolworth Girl's School, for teenagers who want the chance to learn some impressive tricks and put them into action at this year's International Youth Arts Festival.
